I have been reviewing recent meta-analyses regarding mechanical tension and its specific application through various ranges of motion. Specifically, there seems to be a growing body of evidence suggesting that long-length partials may offer a superior stimulus for hypertrophy compared to a full range of motion in certain muscle groups, such as the hamstrings or the medial head of the triceps. My question to the community is: how are you practically integrating these into a structured training split? Do you reserve them for the final sets to reach technical failure, or have you experimented with substituting full-ROM movements entirely for specific blocks? I am particularly interested in how this affects recovery markers and systemic fatigue over a 12-week mesocycle
