Who remembers the early days of cursed thermal paste?

Watching Adam build an "infinite ice-cooled PC" is absolutely insane, but it makes me so nostalgic for the simpler times on the channel. Does anyone else remember when the content was mostly just testing if stuff like toothpaste, mustard, or actual food could work as thermal paste? We’ve come such a long way from those crusty old office PCs to these high-concept rigs that turn on with an audio jack or use an ice machine for cooling. It’s been amazing to watch Yeesterpaste go from a recurring community joke to an actual product you can buy. The production value is way higher now, but that same "mad scientist in a cluttered room" energy is still there. Who else has been here since the pre-100k days when we were just waiting for a CPU to literally explode?
