Tactical realism in war movie clips - what's often overlooked?
I've been watching a lot of the clips here, especially from 'SEAL Team' and 'Saving Private Ryan', and it always gets me thinking about how much tactical realism we actually see in these high-intensity scenes. For example, in the 'Tank in the Streets!' clip, the way the M72 LAW is used or the immediate destruction of the tank—is that truly accurate to real-world combat scenarios? Or even in 'Saving Private Ryan', the sniper's position. What do you all think? Are these channels prioritizing cinematic impact over genuine military strategy, and does it matter for entertainment value? Anyone else notice specific details that just don't add up?
