After watching all these clips, it's pretty clear older movies just let characters be unhinged without a therapy arc, and honestly? Society peaked then. Like, Kristen hitting that guy with frozen food in 'Evil'? Pure cinema. Today they'd give him a safe space and a participation trophy. What even is character development anymore if not accidental concussions? Just sayin'
