Remember when Xabi Olaz first popped up? Like, back when his covers were super raw, just him and a cheap mic in his bedroom? I'm talking about the era of those *really* stripped-down acoustic versions of early 2000s pop songs. I just stumbled across his "Creep" cover from like, 5 years ago. The production quality was wild, but the raw emotion was undeniable. Now everything is so polished and synth-heavy, which I still love, don't get me wrong (that new single slaps!), but I wish he'd drop a surprise "Throwback Thursday" acoustic session just for old time's sake. Who else remembers the B-sides he used to put out exclusively on SoundCloud? Good times! Nostalgia hitting hard today. 🎧😭
