Anyone else miss the 'Garage Hoops Challenge' era?

Man, I was just watching the new analysis video on the zone defenses of the 90s (peak quality, obviously), and it made me feel super old school. Does anyone else remember when STORPS first started doing those crazy 1v1 challenges where they literally played on that crooked hoop in the garage? The camera quality was potato, but the energy was insane! Specifically thinking of the episode where Rico tried to dunk and almost took out the overhead lamp. That raw, experimental vibe they had back in 2018/2019 was legendary. It shows how much they've grown, but sometimes I wish they'd bring back a one-off low-budget challenge just for the chaos!

Man, that Rico vs. T-Mac battle in the garage was absolute cinema despite the 240p quality! It felt so much more personal back then. But honestly, what do you think about the new direction? Do you think the high-end analysis of the 90s defenses is actually better for the channel long-term, or are they losing that raw, authentic vibe that made the Garage Hoops era so special? Anyone else noticed that the energy in the comments has shifted too? Is STORPS still "the place" for original hoops content, or is it starting to feel a bit too polished for its own good? 🍿
