Is "Idol" the Peak of YOASOBI's Production, or Just the Hype?
Okay, serious question for the long-time fans: Do you think the mixing and arrangement on "Idol" (from the *Oshi no Ko* OST) genuinely represents their absolute best work, or did the massive viral success and the anime connection inflate its status? I love the track, obviously, but when I listen to the sheer technical complexity and emotional depth in something like "Gunjou" or even the earlier, more frantic energy of "Yoru ni Kakeru," I wonder if "Idol" is almost *too* polished. Anyone else feel like that meticulous pop production actually sacrificed some of the raw storytelling energy they usually deliver? What track do you think is their real production masterpiece? Discuss.
