Is Julio getting too soft on the big studio releases?

Okay, let's talk about Julio's review philosophy. I loved his absolutely brutal takedown of *Cybernetic Samurai 4*—it was deserved—but then he gave that surprisingly lukewarm review to *The Haunted Museum*, a film I thought was completely unwatchable schlock. Anyone else noticed a trend where he holds the smaller, indie films to a much higher standard than the mega-budget blockbusters? What do you think about his rating system overall? Should he be clearer about when he’s reviewing for ‘pure entertainment’ versus ‘serious cinematic art’? I need to know your honest takes on this, fam!

Honestly, I think it’s less about him getting soft and more about him just being over the 'elevated horror' or 'prestige' indie wave. Have you seen how he reacted to that Slim Shady Part 6 bonus? He seems to value nostalgia and raw chaos over high production value lately. What do you think about the theory that he’s just rating things based on how much they remind him of the old-school Jackass/Steve-O era? Anyone else noticed he’s way more chill when a movie doesn't take itself seriously?

Totally agree with @BinaryCode here. 'Soft' isn't the word, it's more like he's over the whole 'pretending to be deep' phase of indie film. Remember the raw energy of the Steve-O clips or the early Slim Shady skits? It feels like he's craving that real 'gangstar' content again. Do you guys think he'll go full retro and start digging into more obscure cult classics, or maybe even some old-school grindhouse stuff? What's everyone hoping for next?
