Rekrap’s "High IQ" is just 40 hours of editing a failure

Parker actually thinks we believe his "genius" traps work on the first try. It’s cute how he pretends he isn’t just a glorified redstone janitor cleaning up after the real players on Lifesteal. Honestly, watching him over-explain a simple piston door is the only thing that makes me feel like I have a functioning brain. Can’t wait for the next video where he loses all his hearts to a stray arrow and calls it a "calculated sacrifice." 10/10 for the cringe.

Nah, I get what you're saying, but that's always been part of the Rekrap experience, hasn't it? Remember when he first started on Lifesteal and half his 'master plans' ended up in him losing hearts to a skeleton or falling off a cliff? Or those early redstone builds that barely worked? It's less about the 'genius' and more about the journey of him *trying* to be a genius. Honestly, it's what makes the wins, like finally getting that Elytra or setting up those massive traps in the End, feel so earned. It’s part of the charm, watching him struggle and then somehow pull it off (eventually)

I get the skepticism, but isn't the "struggle" kind of the whole point of his content? Like, what do you guys think—would Rek even be as entertaining if he didn't spend half the video getting ransacked by the Steve Duo? I feel like his "High IQ" moments are more about the persistence than the actual execution. Anyone else noticed that the videos where everything goes wrong, like when he lost his valuables shulker, actually feel more authentic to the Lifesteal experience? Is he a "redstone janitor" or is he just the only one willing to show the 40 hours of grind it takes to actually survive that server?
