Hey everyone. TrackWorld is amazing for bringing back classic moments, but I have to ask: Are we overrating *pure speed* vs. *clutch pressure*?
The video showing Bolt’s 9.58 run is iconic, obviously, it's the gold standard for sheer dominance. But for sheer drama and overcoming adversity, is it really better than say, Usain's *200m* world record where he had to fight for the win in his mind? Or even Michael Johnson's 400m world record? Johnson’s technique was so unique and pushed the boundaries in a way we’ll never see again.
What do you think about separating 'Iconic' from 'Technically Superior'? Which performance shown on the channel do you think is the *most* technically perfect race run in history? Discuss.
