I was just thinking about how pop-rock production has changed over the last 20 years. Remember when it was standard to have these huge, soaring arrangements with real strings and cellos in the mix? It feels like everything is so synth-heavy now. Do you guys think the industry will ever swing back to that "orchestral pop" sound, or is it gone for good?
