Hey everyone, I've been seeing a lot of discussions lately about "red flags" and "loyalty tests" in relationships. Sometimes it feels like people are quick to label everything as toxic, but then other times a "prank" just crosses a line.
What do you all think is the difference between a genuine red flag that you should run from, and something that's just a miscommunication or maybe even a weird but harmless loyalty test? Or are loyalty tests just always bad?
Like, is someone testing your patience a red flag, or just... testing your patience? When does a partner's insecurity become a problem for *you* vs. something they need to work on? It's hard to tell sometimes when it's just a funny prank or something actually manipulative. What are your thoughts?
