Does anyone else feel like middle blockers get way too much hate when they’re late to a double block? I feel like if the set is fast enough, it’s almost impossible to get there without cheating. What do you think about commit blocking vs read blocking for faster offenses? I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth the risk of leaving the middle open just to get a hand on the outside hitter. Anyone else noticed that the back row rarely adjusts when the block is late?
