I know this might sound like heresy to cinephiles, but does anyone else feel like these 60-second vertical edits actually do a better job of capturing the "soul" of a scene than the full-length movie?

In a world where our attention spans are shorter, I’m starting to think we don't really need all the filler fluff. Or are we just losing the ability to appreciate cinematography in its intended wide-screen glory? I'm curious if anyone here feels like they've actually "watched" a movie just by seeing these highlights and if you think the original landscape format is becoming obsolete for the next generation. What do you think?
