I think we’ve reached a point where "slow-burn" TV is just an excuse for 60% filler. I’ve been watching a lot of character-focused clips recently—specifically intense sequences involving characters like Ray Shoesmith or Barry Berkman—and I realized the emotional impact is way higher when you strip away the fluff. Why sit through 50 minutes of B-plots when a perfectly edited cut of the "fate and consequences" scenes tells a more powerful story? Is "context" just an excuse for lazy pacing, or are we actually starting to prefer high-intensity edits over the original broadcasts? Change my mind
