Atlanta was actually better before it got "experimental"
Don't get me wrong, I love Donald Glover's vision, but does anyone else feel like the show lost its soul when it stopped being about the struggle in Atlanta and started being a surrealist anthology? Season 1 and 2 had this perfect balance of comedy and grounded reality (like the whole Lemon Pepper Wet scene). By the time we got to the Europe trip, it felt like a completely different show. Is it just me or was the "low-stakes" vibe way more relatable than the high-concept stuff?
