What makes a "toxic" rap anthem actually work?
I've been noticing a huge trend lately with tracks that lean into that really aggressive, toxic energy—especially in the West Coast scene. What do you guys think is the most important part? Is it the off-beat flow, the chemistry between the male and female leads, or just the production? It seems like a lot of artists are trying to recreate that "kick back" vibe from 2016 but only a few are actually pulling it off. What’s the best example of this style you’ve heard recently where the flow actually matches the beat?
