I was just thinking back to the era when rappers like Slick Rick or even early Eminem used to weave these incredibly detailed, cinematic narratives through their verses. It feels like today’s lyricism has shifted so much towards flow and rapid-fire delivery—which is great—but I miss that feeling of being transported into a specific scene. Do you guys think the "concept album" or the story-driven track is a dying art form in the age of viral singles? I’d love to hear your thoughts on which modern artists are still keeping that old-school storytelling tradition alive
