Remember when speedrunning actually required you to master every single level and mechanic of a game? Now it feels like every world record is just finding a way to clip through a wall and skip 90% of the experience. I know it takes skill to hit those frame-perfect glitches, but I honestly think the scene has lost its soul. Glitchless 100% runs used to be the gold standard back in the day, and seeing people warp to the credits in 2 minutes feels like it just spits on the developers' original vision. We need to go back to when "playing fast" actually meant playing the game, not breaking it
