Did we really need *another* ballad?

I swear her mic is set to 'reverb drowning out actual talent' mode 90% of the time. The new cover was aggressively mid. Go back to the weird synth stuff, at least that was accidentally entertaining.

Interesting point about the reverb, I noticed the mixing felt slightly off too. But when discussing ballads, doesn't it make sense for a powerful vocalist like AZKi to lean into slower tracks occasionally to showcase vocal range? Do you think the push for complex synth/electronic music is sustainable long-term, or should artists balance it with more accessible genres like the ballad?
