R&B and Soul have lost their grit. Everyone is so obsessed with perfect vocal runs and high-fidelity production that the actual soul is gone. I miss the era where it sounded a bit raw and messy—nowadays everything sounds like it was made by an AI in a lab for a "vibe" playlist.
