People are so obsessed with a "vibe" or a catchy beat that they don't even care if the lyrics are hollow, repetitive, or literally make no sense. Music used to be about telling a story that stayed with you forever, but now it feels like songs are just 2-minute loops designed to go viral for ten seconds. If the melody is fire but the words don't touch your soul or mean anything deep, is it even a masterpiece?
