Why do most modern "twist" movies feel so forced?

Anyone else noticed how a lot of recent thrillers try way too hard with a "twist" ending that doesn't actually make sense? For me, a movie is only legendary if the twist is "earned"—meaning you can rewatch it and see all the breadcrumbs you missed the first time. Think along the lines of The Sixth Sense or even some of those classic 2000s psychological thrillers. What do you guys think is the most mind-blowing twist that actually held up on a second viewing? I’m looking for some deep-cut recommendations that aren't just the super famous ones! 🎬🍿
