Why don't we see more "humble genius" movies like we used to?

Remember back in the 90s and early 2000s when movies about high intelligence were actually about the person and their community? Films like Phenomenon or even the more recent The Man Who Knew Infinity felt so much more grounded and emotional. It feels like nowadays, "genius" characters in cinema are just written as arrogant tropes or superheroes in lab coats. Do you guys think the "humble genius" archetype has died out, or are there recent movies that actually capture that feeling of a good person just trying to navigate a world they suddenly understand too well?
