How has the strategy for Black political leverage evolved since the 90s?
I've been reflecting on the history of advocacy for Foundational Black Americans and how much the conversation has shifted over the decades. Remember when the discourse was mainly about the "Black vote" as one giant, undivided block? Now that we're seeing this massive shift toward specific delineation and targeted voting requirements, do y'all think this new direction is actually creating more power at the local level compared to the old-school approach? It feels like we're moving into a completely different era of political strategy. I'm curious to hear from those who have been following the evolution of these movements for a long time—is this the most effective path we've taken yet? ✊🏾💯
