I’ve been noticing a trend lately with these high-quality After Effects edits. Don't get me wrong, the transitions are smooth, but does anyone else feel like it ruins the vibe of shows like Young Sheldon or movies like The Cure? Sometimes the original scene is so powerful on its own that adding all those "epic" effects and fast cuts just makes it feel like a music video instead of a story. What do you think? Is the editing community focusing too much on visuals and not enough on the actual acting?
