Online moral crusades are getting out of hand

Anyone else feel like the internet is just a giant mob constantly looking for the next person to cancel or expose? While some things obviously need to be called out, it feels like the line between actual justice and performative outrage is getting blurrier every day. We see channels reacting to these intense situations, and it just escalates everything. What do you all think? Is the internet doing more good or harm when it comes to these 'community justice' moments?
