Is the "awkward" interview style getting played out?

I've noticed a huge spike in creators using this deadpan, confrontational style for interviews where the whole point is just to make the guest feel weird or hit them with "name 10" questions. What do you guys think—is this just the new meta for viral clips, or are we reaching a saturation point where the "cringe" factor stops being funny? It feels like the line between a real conversation and a scripted character bit is completely gone now. Does it actually require more skill than a traditional interview, or is it just easier to go viral this way?

NO WAY is it played out! Matan is literally a genius and his aura is on another level 😭🙏 If you think the "name 10" style is boring, you probably just can't name 10 regulated whoppers! Matan grilling Steiny was peak entertainment and Mike Mike is literally a legend for stopping the jesters before they get out of hand. These clips are what keep me going, honestly! Mike Mike is the man in all our hearts and he keeps the show safe from the cringe. Keep cooking Matan! 🔥❤️🔥
