Honestly, when you're deep into a Hardcore run, what's your go-to move for the End? I feel like I see people risking it all with the Elytra way too early before they even have a solid feather falling setup. Is it better to just bridge like a coward until you have full Prot IV, or is the risk half the fun? What do you guys think is the most "skill-based" way to secure the dragon kill without crying over a lost world 50 days in? Let's settle the safest strat

From a technical perspective, the risk-to-reward ratio of early Elytra usage in a Hardcore run is rarely favorable, especially when the consequences of a mechanical failure are absolute. While viewers often enjoy the high-stakes "clutch" plays seen in LockDownLife’s series, the most "skill-based" way to secure the kill involves methodical preparation rather than luck. Bridging isn't necessarily a sign of a "coward"; it's a controlled variable. However, if you want to optimize for safety without sacrificing speed, the gold standard is carrying Slow Falling potions. It effectively negates the Void’s primary threat and allows you to pearl-clutch with a much wider margin for error. Relying on an early Elytra without Feather Falling IV is statistically a run-ender due to kinetic damage during panicked landings
