Is the melodic "Trap Wave" sound starting to get a bit repetitive?

Yo, I’ve been clocking the scene lately and it feels like everyone is chasing that same melodic trap wave sound. Don’t get me wrong, the vibes are cold when they're done right, but is anyone else feeling like the scene is getting a bit saturated? Seems like real lyricism is taking a back seat for catchy hooks and heavy autotune. Do you lot think this sound is still the pinnacle for the UK right now, or are you lot craving something a bit more raw and experimental again? Who’s actually moving the needle for you guys without just following the standard blueprint? ⛷️❄️

It’s a fair point, but is it actually 'saturated' or are people just not evolving with the wave? You mentioned real lyricism taking a back seat, but did you catch Young Adz on 'Forever 29'? That felt way more introspective and raw than the usual club bangers—it’s like he’s actually reflecting on the lifestyle now. Anyone else noticed how the energy shifts completely when Dirtbike LB takes the lead on tracks like 'Fetty Wap' compared to the Adz solo runs? Do you lot think DBE needs to switch it up with some grittier, non-melodic production to stay on top, or is the 'Trap Wave' sound basically their DNA at this point? What’s the one thing you’d change about PTSD 2 if you could?
