I’m looking for some opinions on server dynamics. For those of you who follow survival multiplayer servers (SMPs), do you prefer when the players focus purely on technical builds and survival, or do you like the heavy roleplay and "angst" storylines more? I feel like sometimes the "cinematic" moments can feel a bit forced if there isn't a good balance between the scripted bits and the organic gameplay. If you were starting a new server today, what kind of community rules would you want to see to keep the roleplay interesting without it getting too overwhelming?
