Remember when we used to watch these shows on cable and think they were just "wholesome" and "relatable"? Rewatching these scenes lately makes me realize the Hecks were actually kind of terrible to each other. Unpopular opinion: Axl was a straight-up bully and we only gave him a pass because of the nostalgia. These classic sitcoms are way more depressing when you rewatch them as an adult. Is it just me or was the humor back then just "being mean to your family for 22 minutes"?
