I've been rewatching old Seinfeld episodes lately, and it just hits different. Remember when it first came out, and everyone was like "a show about nothing?!" and it just blew up? It felt so fresh and relatable because it was literally just everyday annoyances and conversations. Compared to today's sitcoms, which often have big arcs or more explicit social commentary, Seinfeld's humor feels timeless in its observational simplicity. Do you guys think that "show about nothing" approach would still work today for a brand new sitcom, or was it a lightning-in-a-bottle thing unique to that era? I miss that kind of pure, unadulterated comedic chaos lol
