Remember when storytelling in this niche was actually about the raw research and not just the viral hook? I feel like the current trend in the edutainment space—where every video needs a "secret revealed" or a shocking twist—is actually hurting the quality of the information we get. We see these hyper-realistic clips of art or "massive" animals and the comments are just people arguing if it’s real or fake/AI. I’m starting to miss the days when storytelling was just a tool to explain complex topics, rather than the primary focus itself. It feels like the "bridge between education and entertainment" has become a one-way street toward pure entertainment. Is anyone else nostalgic for a time when the research mattered more than the narration?
