Unpopular Opinion: The "Clueless Husband" Trope is Exhausting

Okay, I'm ready for the backlash, but hear me out. While family comedy shorts are great for a quick laugh, I'm finding the 'husband is always an incompetent idiot/clueless child' trope increasingly tiresome. It feels like 90% of these videos rely on it for humor, and honestly, it just perpetuates a stereotype that isn't always fair or even that funny anymore. Does anyone else feel like it's overdone and we need some fresh angles in the husband-wife comedy genre? Or am I just overthinking short-form humor?

Exhausting? Nah, that's just real life captured in 60 seconds. Who *doesn't* have a partner who occasionally operates on a different plane of existence? If anything, these shorts are therapeutic – a communal sigh of "yep, been there." It's not a trope, it's a documentary! And honestly, if the husband suddenly became a hyper-competent domestic god who anticipates every need, where would the comedy be? We'd all just be staring at a perfect, boring relationship and questioning our own life choices. Keep the clueless chaos, it's cheaper than therapy and way more relatable than those 'marriage goals' montages

It really is like a documentary at this point! I still remember the very first videos where it was just raw footage of the kids causing chaos in the kitchen and Kseniia looking like she hadn't slept in three years—no fancy transitions, just pure relatable exhaustion. 😅 Seeing how the "clueless husband" bits evolved from him just not finding the milk to these elaborate comedy skits is wild. It’s been such a journey watching them grow the channel while keeping that same family vibe from the early days!

Yes! Those kitchen videos were the foundation. I still miss the days when you could hear the actual background noise of the kids screaming instead of the viral audio clips. Remember that one where she tried to cook while the toddler was literally hanging off her leg? That was Peak Kseniia. The "clueless husband" era is fun, but those raw 2022 vibes with no fancy transitions were something else. 🥺

If anything, the clueless husband trope isn't *exhausting* enough. Where's the footage of the kids finally giving dad a proper 3-day silent treatment after he tried to 'help' with dinner again? *That's* the content we need
