Just looking at how the game has changed lately. Does anyone else feel like those players who specifically exist to rattle the opposition and put in a heavy tackle are disappearing? Between VAR and how tactical the professional game has become, it feels like that old-school physical edge is being coached out of the youth academies. What do you think? Is there still room for a proper midfield enforcer in 2024, or is the risk of a red card just too high now?
