Alright, let's stir the pot a little bit. We're seeing more and more of our artists linking up with big names from the West, dropping tracks that instantly go viral. And hey, it's cool to see our music on a global stage, no doubt.

But seriously, is this whole "Punjabi artist x Western superstar" trend genuinely about cultural exchange and groundbreaking new sounds? Or are we just witnessing a very strategic, well-packaged grab for new markets, where the Western artist gets to look "diverse" for a hot minute and our guys get some mainstream eyeballs?

Asking for a friend who's trying to figure out if these tracks are actually fusion masterpieces or just another brick in the wall of global pop's corporate synergy. Don't get me wrong, some slap, but come on

That’s a fair question, but anyone else noticed how Diljit manages to keep his core "Pind" vibe even when he’s on a track with someone like Sia or David Guetta? To me, it doesn't feel like a cash grab because he’s not changing his persona to fit their world; he’s making them fit into ours. "Ranjha" has that classic 2014-15 vibe but with a global polish. ⚔️

What do you think about the linguistic balance, though? Does adding more English bits help the culture reach further, or do you think it risks losing the raw Punjabi essence that made him a legend in the first place? Also, who would you want to see him collab with next to actually push the sound forward instead of just chasing a viral TikTok moment? 🧐🔥
