Relatable family comedy's evolution?
Hey everyone, curious to get your thoughts on something. I feel like 'relatable' family comedy has really changed over the years. Remember when it was mostly about slapstick or sitcom tropes? Now it feels like there's a lot more focus on those super specific, sometimes awkward, generational misunderstandings or inside jokes about growing up with certain types of parents. What do you think has driven this shift? Are there any older styles of family-centric comedy you miss, or new trends you really appreciate?
