It’s hilarious that the most "iconic" moments in cinema history are basically just actors ignoring the script because it was mid. If a random stray cat in The Godfather has better directing instincts than the actual director, or if Brad Pitt has to invent his own lines to give a movie an actual "emotional core," we should probably just fire all the writers and let the actors improvise everything.
