I've been considering adding an interior-facing lens to my dashcam setup lately. We see so many clips where things go sideways during traffic stops, but I'm curious if having a visible camera in the cabin actually helps de-escalate the situation or if it just makes people more defensive. Has anyone here ever had to use interior footage for a legal case or insurance claim? I'd love to know if itβs worth the extra investment for total protection or if a standard front-view cam is usually enough to tell the full story
