Okay, seriously, does anyone else feel like Nintendo's hardware "innovations" are just... not enough? Like, with the hype around the Switch 2, I'm already anticipating it'll still feel underpowered compared to whatever Sony/Microsoft put out. It's always about a gimmick (motion controls, portable/home console hybrid, dual screens) rather than raw performance that lets devs truly push boundaries. We get gorgeous first-party games, sure, but imagine them without the technical limitations! What do you all think? Am I alone in wishing for a Nintendo console that can truly compete on a technical level?
