I've been reviewing the performance data of wingers with high 'Agility' versus those with the 'Technical' or 'Quick Step' playstyles. It seems that the animation triggers for specific playstyles provide a more significant boost to ball retention and explosive movement than a high Strength or Acceleration stat ever could in the current match engine. Has anyone else noticed a diminishing return on pure physical attributes when compared to these specific trait archetypes? I'm trying to determine if it's more viable to scout specifically for these traits rather than raw attribute potential when building a long-term squad.
