Okay, hot take for real. Does anyone else remember when AGT was just about pure, raw talent? Like, you'd see acts like Aidan Bryant or that shredding kid, and they'd blow you away just on skill alone. Now it feels like every other audition needs some incredibly tragic backstory to get a Golden Buzzer or even a 'yes'. I'm not saying don't have empathy, but sometimes it feels like the story gets more weight than the actual performance. It kinda cheapens the "wow" factor for the truly unique acts. Am I crazy?
