The "look good, play good" mentality is overshadowing the sport
I’m just going to say it: the obsession with the "softball girl aesthetic" is starting to get out of hand. 💅🥎 I love the energy and the team spirit as much as anyone, but when I see more clips of dugout dances, lip gloss applications, and "drama" than actual defensive fundamentals or pitching mechanics, I worry about the direction the sport is heading. It feels like we’re turning competitive softball into a TikTok trend rather than focusing on the grind. Does anyone else feel like the "chaos and heart" is being replaced by "chaos and clout"? Or am I just being too old school and this is actually good for the game’s visibility? Let's hear it
