Is modern country music losing its soul?
Alright y'all, let's stir the pot a little. I've been listening to a lot of new country lately and honestly, I feel like a lot of it is just pop music with a slight twang thrown in. Where's the grit? Where's the storytelling? It feels like we're losing that authentic country heart for something more radio-friendly. Don't get me wrong, some of it's catchy, but is it *country*? Anyone else feel like the genre is drifting too far from its roots, or am I just being an old traditionalist? What do you think about the direction modern country is heading? Let's discuss!
