Okay, so I've been thinking a lot about open-world games lately. Remember back in the day when games like San Andreas or Oblivion felt SO massive and groundbreaking? You could just get lost for hours. Now, it feels like every other game is open-world, but sometimes they can feel a bit... empty? Like there's a huge map but not always enough *meaningful* stuff to do, or it's just a bunch of repetitive side quests. What do you guys think? Was there a 'golden age' for open-world games, or are we still getting innovative stuff now? What makes a truly great open-world for you? I'm curious what everyone's favorite open-world game *ever* is too, and why!
